About Polar Microsystems

Polar Microsystems provides consulting services that enable our clients to advance their businesses through full utilization of the Apple Macintosh hardware and software platform. Our services include:

• Macintosh Systems Needs Analysis-to determine the hardware, software, training, and consulting needs of the client in order to maximize efficiency.

• Hardware Consulting-to specify Macintosh computers and peripherals that meet the client's present and future requirements.

• Network Design and Implementation-to enable the flow of information within the client's company using both Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks running under the AppleShare and Novell Netware protocols. Polar Microsystems has particular expertise in cross-platform networking and application products.

• Database Application Design and Development-to facilitate efficient access to the client's data records, with the support of Blyth Software's Omnis 5 and Omnis 7, Microsoft FoxPro, and ACI US 4th Dimension. Polar Microsystems has designed data infrastructures for legal practice management, technical document tracking, and equipment sales and service, as well as such applications as artificial heart monitoring, and surgical instrument inventory management. Project management services have also been provided by Polar Microsystems in the development of large scale inventory management.
